Help Wanted

Help Wanted:  individuals with questions about poverty, helping families in poverty, and children living in poverty.  Really hard questions preferred.  No experience necessary!

One of the things that will help this blog do its job, that is being beneficial for YOU, is to have your input.  I love the comments I receive but something that would really accelerate the process would be to have all of you who visit ask me questions.  I love questions.  I especially like the challenging kind.  What gets you going when it comes to the topic of poverty?  What makes you really mad regarding poverty?  What breaks your heart when it comes to poverty?   What do you wish you knew about poverty?

Welcome!  How cool to have my own blog and my own website.  A short time ago I would get a headache every time I thought about such things!  I am very grateful for the ‘techies’ and pay homage to the techies….especially Alan, Patty and Donnie.  I wouldn’t be on the cyber dance floor without them.  Besides being thankful to those who helped me arrive (with a small amount of kicking and screaming), I am also thankful to each of you who stop to visit.  My goal is to offer tools, support, workshops and coaching to Helping Professionals.  I have more about that at my website http://creatingsuccessstories.com .  Helping Professionals are often underpaid, overworked and underappreciated.  Not here.  I have worked in the helping field for more than twenty years and I admire and respect those who help others for a living.  This is a place I have created for them to share ideas, ask for help, vent frustrations (appropriately :-} ) and receive support.
